SnapMock ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website snapmock.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

The Short Version

Your images never leave your device. SnapMock processes all screenshots and mockups entirely in your web browser using client-side JavaScript and the HTML Canvas API. We do not upload, store, transmit, or have access to any images you use with our tool.

Information We Collect

1. Images and Screenshots

We do not collect your images. All image processing happens locally in your browser. Your screenshots, mockups, and exported images are never sent to our servers or any third-party servers. When you close the browser tab, your images are gone — we have no copy.

2. Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. This service may collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referral source (how you found us)
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP address)
• Interaction events (e.g., button clicks, feature usage)

3. Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display ads on our site. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

SnapMock itself does not set any cookies. However, our third-party services (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) may set cookies in your browser. These are used for analytics and advertising purposes as described above.

• Payment information (the service is free)

Data Retention

Since we don't collect personal data or images, there's nothing to retain. Analytics data is retained by Google according to their standard data retention policies (default: 14 months).
